5. Installing the Ink Cartridges

Insert the retainers to the slots 3 and 4.

As paying attention to the orientation of the round hole,

insert the dummy cartridges to the slots 3 and 4.

Insert the dummy cartridge straight as far as it goes.

Remove the retainers as holding the dummy cartridges with

one hand so that they will not come off.

In the same way, insert the dummy cartridges to the slots 5 and

6 and the slots 7 and 8 by repeating the steps

CAUTION

Push the retainer from the top.

If you hold the lower part of the

retainer when installing, you

may get your ngers pinched

due to installing force.

Installation is

completed.

Hold it with both hands and

push it down with sufcient

force along the groove.

Align the projection of the

retainer with the groove in

the cartridge slot.
