4-2 What to Do If
The [Power/Movement] button is blinking.
Do you switch on the power as the height of the head position is xed?
As the power is switched on while the height of the head position is xed, the initial operation is stopped. If
the machine continues the initial operation while the instrument to be imprinted is loaded, the instrument's
surface may be scratched and/or the marking pin may be damaged.
Loosen the knob counterclockwise once. Then, while pushing the head's stopper against the ring, tighten
the knob. Press the [Power/Movement] button, and the initial operation is completed and the lamp stops
blinking and lights up.
When you do not use the head cap, do you forget to adjust the height of the head position?
The tip of the head hits the surface of the instrument to be imprinted. Switch o the power by holding down
the [Power/Movement] button for one second or longer.
In the case that you perform printing without using the head cap, adjust the head position to an appropriate
position based on the surface height of the material (instrument to be imprinted) and secure the head rmly
with the knob. If the head is xed at the position that is lower than the surface height of the instrument to be
imprinted, the tip of the head hits the surface of the instrument.

Do you lift the head when you turn ON the power?
Since the head is lifted to the topmost, the machine considers that the surface height of the instrument to
be imprinted does not meet the requirements for carrying out printing operation. Switch o the power by
holding down the [Power/Movement] button for one second or longer.
When switching on the power, be careful not to touch the head unnecessarily.
Is a change in the height of the print surface too large?
Switch o the power by holding down the [Power/Movement] button for one second or longer.
Check the requirements for the instruments that can be imprinted and select the instrument that meets the
requirements.
