The TD

6K kit arrives as Roland’s most

affordable compact drum system, bringing the

world’s leading drum sounds and acclaimed

playability to a new price point. This expandable

set is based around the all-new TD-6 Percussion

Sound Module, newly developed rubber drum

pads, and new dual-trigger cymbal pads with

choke capabilities, giving you the power to

sound and play your best.

Affordable new compact drum system based

around TD-6 Percussion Sound Module and new

drum and cymbal pads.

TD-6 Percussion Sound Module offers 64-voice

polyphony, 1,024 high-quality drum sounds,

262 backing sounds, 99 kits and a 6-part

sequencer.

Five PD-6 8.5" rubber pads provide durable,

reliable triggering.

Two CY-6 12" dual-trigger cymbal pads yield

natural dynamics and "choke" capabilities.

9 trigger inputs on TD-6 accommodate up to 11

pads and cymbals, including acclaimed Roland

mesh-head V-pads Includes hi-hat pedal, kick

drum trigger, stand and all connecting

hardware.

easy setup and intuitive operation.

Electronic Percussion Kit

• Initialize

This function restores the pad and instrument

settings, song data and other settings back to

their original factory state:

1. Whilst holding [SHIFT], press [EDIT(SETUP)].

2. Press [>] to select “Factory Reset.”

3. Press [ENTER]

4. Press [INC/+] or [DEC/-] to select “ALL.”

5. Press [ENTER]

• Play The Demo Song

This function lets you listen to the onboard demo

songs.

1. Whilst holding down [KIT], press [SONG]

2. Press [INC/+] or [DEC/-] to select the song

3. Press [PLAY >] to listen to the song

4. Press [STOP] to end the song

5. Press [KIT] to exit the demo mode

• Choosing a Drum Kit

The TD-6 comes with 99 preset drum kits.

Now’s probably a good time for you to try

them out:

1. Press [KIT]

2. Press [INC/+] or [DEC/-] to select the drum

kit you require.

3. Bash away!!!

• Playing Along with Songs

The TD-6 features a sequencer that can record

and playback accompaniment tracks:

1. Press [SONG]

2. Press [INC/+] or [DEC/-] to select the song

you require.

3. Press [PLAY >] for the song to begin

playback and [STOP] for it to finish.

4. Play along to the backing!

• Muting the Drum Backing

If the pre-programmed drums are doing your

head in, you can mute them:

1. Press [SONG]

2. Press [INC/+] or [DEC/-] to select the song

you require.

3. Press [PART MUTE] to mute the

programmed drums.

4. Press [PLAY >] for the song to begin

playback and [STOP] for it to finish.

5. Play along to the backing!

• Adjusting the Tempo

You can adjust the tempo of the pre-

programmed song while playback is in

progress:

1. Whilst holding down [SHIFT], press

[CLICK (TEMPO)]

2. Press [INC/+] or [DEC/-] to select the

desired tempo.

3. Press [EXIT] to finish the procedure.
